15 League matches will be held between six Railway zones of Pool-A.
The 68th All India Railway T-20 Mens Cricket Championship (Elite Pool-A) 2024-25, hosted by East Coast Railway Sports Association, Khurda Road, was inaugurated at East Coast Railway Sports Association stadium. Shri H.S.Bajwa, the Divisional Railway Manager, Khurda Road, inaugurated the tournament. Shri P.K.Behra, Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Operation), Shri Himadri Bhushan Biswal, Sports Officer and Sr. Divisional Finance Manager, Khurda Road, were present along with other Branch officers in the inaugural function. Total 6 Railway zones i.e North Central Railway, Eastern Railway, Metro Railway, West Central Railway, Southe East Central Railway and East Coast Railway are participating in the Elite Pool-A league matches. Total 15 league matches will be held among these 6 zones from 04.03.2025 to 10.03.2025 at Khurda Road Railway stadium. Speaking on the occasion, Shri H.S.Bajwa, conveyed his best wishes to all the 6 teams for their healthy participation. He said it is a previlage for the East Coast Railway Sports Association, Khurda Road, to host the Pool-A tournaments. The division has made elaborate arrangements to make all the matches successful and local cricket lovers can enjoy the tournaments, he added.
The Indian Railways is organising various league matches for 27 teams of various zones at 4 different locations i.e for Pool-A at Khurda Road, Pool-B at Kapurthala, Pool-C at Patiala and Pool –D at Guwahati. Today’s first league match was held between North Central Railway and East Coast Railway. East Coast Railway won the match by 6 runs. Shri Ankit Yadav of East Coast Railway became the man of the match. The Man of the match trophy was presented by Shri P.K.Behra, ADRM(OP), Khurda Road. Today’s second match was held between Eastern Railway and South East Central Railway. South East central Railway won the match by .. Shri Amit Mishra of South East Central Railway won the Man of the Match trophy. All the matches are being co-ordinated by Md.Zakiruddin, Sports Secretary and by the members of East Coast Railway Sports Association, Khurda Road
